About ReelGrab

ReelGrab is a small, independent web tool that turns the link of a public Instagram Reel into a video link you can save. It exists because saving a Reel you're allowed to keep shouldn't require installing an app or handing over a password.

How it works

You paste a Reel link. Our server checks that it's a valid Reel link, passes it to a third-party media-processing service, and shows you the temporary video link that comes back. ReelGrab doesn't need your Instagram login and doesn't host or keep the videos. Details are on the Privacy page.

What we focus on

Keeping it simple: one box, clear messages when something fails, and a site that works on a phone with one hand. The iPhone, Android and troubleshooting guides explain what to do when things go wrong.

Limits

Only public Reels can be downloaded, and availability depends on the third-party service. We can't guarantee any given Reel will work.

Responsible use

Reels belong to their creators. Download only content you own or have permission to use, don't repost others' work without permission, and credit creators where appropriate. ReelGrab is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram or Meta. See our Terms.
